Russian antivirus software developer Kaspersky Laboratories has promoted Olga Korenbaum to Latin American distribution manager, the company said in a statement.
Prior to assuming her new role, Korenbaum held a range of business and channel development positions, such as channel manager for the north of Latin America.

The Chilean division of Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) has hired Eduardo Pooley as country manager, Google said in a statement.
Pooley's professional experience includes stints as general manager of local newspaper Diario Financiero, as well as marketing manager for the Chilean division of Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT).
The executive has a degree in civil industrial engineering from the Universidad Catolica de Chile.
Outgoing country manager James Ballentine will remain within Google as business development manager for Latin America.

US networking company Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR) has tapped Emilio Umeoka as vice president for worldwide partners, the company said in a statement.
Umeoka joined Juniper from Microsoft, where he served as president of Asia Pacific operations.
Born in Brazil, the executive has an engineering degree from Texas A&M University.

Brazilian construction giant MRV Engenharia has tapped compatriot IT firm Softcorp for solution migration, the latter company said in a statement.
Softcorp updated MRV Engenharia's installation of software from US security firm Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC).
Softcorp has business units in Sao Paulo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Parana, Espirito Santo and Pernambuco.
