Latin American IT consultancy firm Neoris has named Julio César Blanco as global interactive marketing manager, the company said in a release.

Blanco has more than 14 years of business process consulting and marketing experience, and has worked at Neoris since 2004.

The executive has a degree in industrial engineering from Argentina's Universidad de Buenos Aires, as well as a graduate degree in marketing from the Universidad Católica Argentina.

Argentine electrodomestics manufacturer Longvie has acquired a solution from US business software solutions provider Epicor (Nasdaq: EPIC), the latter said in a statement.

Longvie implemented the Epicor ERP to integrate information and business processes from different areas.

Longvie has 700 employees distributed among sites in Buenos Aires, Entre Ríos and Catamarca.


The Chilean division of CSI Leasing, the largest privately held independent IT leaser in the US, has launched a product monitoring tool, the company said in a statement.

The new solution, called MyCSI, allows clients to monitor their rented equipment via the internet. The tool also provides access to related information, such as rental contracts.


Brazilian software development group Totvs (Bovespa: TOTS3) will be stepping up marketing activities in 20 Latin American countries, the company said in a statement.

The campaign, which will consist largely of TV advertising, is part of the company's plans to increase exports.
