Chilean IT security solutions provider NeoSecure has appointed Marcos Sandoval Navarrete as deputy corporate manager, NeoSecure said in a statement.
The executive previously worked for Sprint Telecommunications, Global One and Telefónica.
Founded in 1999, the company has commercial activities in several markets, including Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Spain, the US and Peru.
The Chilean division of CSI Leasing has added local department store Dijon to its client base and will renew the store's point of sale (PoS) terminals, CSI Leasing said in a statement.
CSI Leasing has been in the IT leasing industry since 1972 and now has offices in Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Guatemala and Honduras.
Chile is one of the company's newest regional markets, while its most mature business is in Mexico, according to previous reports.
Uruguayan consortium Sistemas Informáticos-Arnaldo C Castro has won a contract to develop a platform to support to the country's centralized acquisition unit, UCA, local IT chamber Cuti said in a statement without reporting the price tag of the project.
Under the economy and finance ministry, UCA acquires food and food services, medical equipment and medicine.
Argentine software development firm Epidata Consulting saw its revenues expand 69% to more than US$3mn in 2010, Argentina IT chamber Cessi reported.
Epidata expects to employ 500 professionals by 2015 compared to the current 100.
