US tech firm Nvidia (Nasdaq: NVDA) has appointed Solange Consens as territory manager for Southern Latin America, Nvidia said in a statement.

Prior to this position, Consens was the firm's territory manager for the Southern Cone.

UK systems integrator Logica has launched a solution for mobile banking transactions in Brazil, the company said in a statement.

The solution, called Logica Mobile Banking, is suitable for almost all mobile devices, Logica said.

Logica's m-banking solution enables clients to make payments via secure SMS.


The Brazilian division of Chilean systems integrator Sonda has appointed Eduardo Borba as VP for the Sonda Software unit, Sonda said in a statement.

The executive will work toward integrating the firm's cloud computing and BPO offerings.

Founded in 1978, Sonda has operations in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay.


Brazilian IT firm Bematech has launched a software as a service (SaaS) offering, the company said in a statement.

The company said clients will be able to access the SaaS offering via internet.

Bematech has three business units - hardware, software and services.

The company has international operations in the US, Taiwan and China.
