Argentine stock market e-trading solutions firm Rofex has acquired a 100% stake in compatriot firm Primary, the companies said in a joint statement.

Rofex president Luis Ossola said the move will allow his firm to accelerate the formation of new alliances in local and international markets.

Rofex and Primary have worked together for more than 14 years.

Latin American-focused hospitality product provider RTI Hotel Supply has acquired solutions from the North American division of UK software firm Sage (LSE: SGE), the latter company said in a statement.

RTI Hotel Supply implemented Sage ERP Accpac and SageCRM in its accounting, distribution and customer service areas.

RTI Hotel Supply is based in Miami.


The South American division of UK systems integrator Logica (LSE: LOG; Euronext: LOG) has been found to meet the SAS70 type 1 and type 2 auditing standards, the company said in a statement.

Logica was evaluated by consultancy KPMG, which determined that Logica South America's operational and data center controls follow the industry's best practices and comply with Sarbanes-Oxley standards.


Spanish email security firm Spamina has rolled out a Portuguese-language version of its cloud-based firewall solution, the company said in a statement.

Within Latin America, the Spanish firm operates in Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Colombia and Bolivia.
