The Latin American division of SAP (NYSE: SAP) has named two executives to new posts, the company said in a statement.

Pablo Signorelli will become vice president of the division's ecosystem and channels. Signorelli has 20 years of IT and sales experience, and most recently worked in the Mexican division of HP (NYSE: HPQ).

Additionally, Daniel Ciechanower will serve as the lead for SAP Business ByDesign and channel innovation. Ciechanower has worked at SAP since 1999.

The Brazil division of IBM (NYSE: IBM) has made three changes to its organizational structure, the company said in a release.

Luiz Bovi will head a team that combines sales to SMEs and channels, as well as sales through the company website. Bovi has worked at IBM for more than 20 years.

Rodrigo Kede will become vice president for the services and technology division. Kede has worked at IBM since 1993, and most recently served as CFO for Latin America.

Finally, Fabio Pessoa will take the reins as sales VP for banking, insurance, telecommunications, energy and other areas.


Mexican telemarketing institute IMT will host a conference on the global contact center industry, IMT said in a statement.

Top brass from organizations such as Mexican IT association Canieti, US contact center platform provider Aspect Software and US telecoms applications, software and services supplier Avaya (NYSE: AV) will speak at the event, which will take place March 15 in Mexico City.


Russian antivirus software developer Kaspersky Laboratories has rolled out its PURE Total Security solution in Chile, the company said in a statement.

The solution targets the residential segment, and is available at local retailers.
