SAP (NYSE: SAP) has promoted Guillermo Brinkmann to channels and ecosystem director for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the Caribbean, the company said in a release. Brinkmann has worked in SAP since 2007, and most recently served as SME director for SAP's MCLA region. The executive holds a degree in computer science, as well as master's degrees in software engineering and computer science, all from Argentina's Universidad de Belgrano. *** US web filtering and desktop security software manufacturer Websense (Nasdaq: WBSN) has tapped Carlos Arias as senior marketing manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, the company said in a statement. Arias has 18 years of IT experience, including stints in Motorola Solutions (NYSE: MOT) and the now-bankrupt Canadian telecoms equipment maker Nortel (TSX: NT). *** The Chilean division of HP (NYSE: HPQ) has named Rodrigo Aguayo as public sector specialist for the personal systems group (PSG), the firm said in a release. The executive holds a degree in commercial engineering and a graduate degree in strategic sales strategies from Chile's Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez. *** Latin American IT consultancy firm Neoris will step up its Neoris ONE training program in Mexico, the company said in a statement. The initiative, which operates in Mexico City, Culiacán and Nuevo León, seeks talented students from local universities.
