Japanese security solutions provider Trend Micro (Nasdaq: TMIC), has launched in Argentina its new solution SafeSync for Business, the company said in a statement.

The solution keeps a synchronized backup of all files of a company, to be accessed online by partners, employees and customers from anywhere.

It is a cloud-based solution compatible with Windows and Mac, and applicable for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Banco de Crédito del Perú (BCP) has selected US software company Calypso Technology's systems to centralize its infrastructure and expand into new businesses, the companies said in a statement without reporting monetary details of the deal.

Calypso's front-to-back office, cross-asset platform will help BCP support foreign exchange (FX), interest rate derivatives, FX derivatives, commodities derivatives and fixed income products.

BCP is part of the Credicorp financial services group and is Peru's largest bank, with 328 branches.


Argentine ERP and CRM supplier ProdyTec has launched a cloud-based CRM solution in the local market, the company announced in a statement.

Etehrius CRM on demand allows sales team members to access information using any web browser or a mobile phone.


Advisory and consultancy services company Delta Asesores is holding a conference on August 12-13 in Panama City on IT strategic planning, the company said in a statement.

The conference - targeting people involved in the decision making process regarding IT, such as CIOs and CFOs - will cover topics such as the design and implementation of strategies to achieve competitive advantages through the use of IT.
