Business management solutions provider Sankhya expects to be among the four biggest ERP companies in Brazil by 2012 with 60mn reais (US$36.3mn) in revenues, local news source Baguete reported.
The company, based in Minas Gerais state, also expects to increase its total number of employees from 400 currently to 1,000 by 2012, Sankhya president Felipe Calixto was quoted as saying.
According to the executive, to meet these goals the company is implementing a strategy focused on new launches, expansion through channels and the expansion of units and Sankhya's facilities in Uberlândia.
Sankhya's headquarters will soon be moved to the city's technological hub with a 5mn-real investment, allowing it to be closer to research centers and partners.
The company has more than 2,000 clients covered through an indirect sales model, in nine Brazilian cities.
About two months ago, the company added a fourth unit in Santa Catarina state, in the city of Criciúma, where it expects to invest 200,000 reais by next year and grow 35%.
Sankhya has invested 600,000 reais over the last three years in its units in Santa Catarina, including Florianópolis, Joinville and Camboriú.
