Brazilian IT firm Smart Solutions posted revenues of 36mn reais (US$21.6mn) in 2010, an increase of 33% compared with the previous year, the company said in a statement.
According to the company, the business intelligence and outsourcing segments boosted 2010 revenues. Outsourcing services accounted for 81% of the company's revenues last year, while the business intelligence segment accounted for the remainder.
Last year, the company signed 23 new contracts and gained 14 new clients, including Petrobras Biocombustível, Technip, Consub, Construtora Passarelli and Icatu.
For 2011, Smart Solutions aims to bill 50mn reais, representing a 40% increase.
Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro, the company also has operations in São Paulo. It offers solutions to companies in several verticals including oil and gas, telecommunications, industry, transport and manufacturing.
