Sofrecom sees 1H11 sales increase 14%

Argentine IT services and solutions company Sofrecom Argentina, which is part of France Telecom, posted sales of 52mn pesos (US$12.6mn) during the first half of this year, for a 14% year-over-year increase, the company said in a statement.

Services and software factory were the areas with the highest level of growth, in both internal and external markets. Meanwhile, new client contracts increased 44%, reaching 80mn pesos.

Sofrecom CEO Adrián Hettema said the company expects to reach 113mn pesos by the end of 2011, meaning total growth of 24%.

"2011 started as a very good year, and it looks like a very successful one when considering the technologies we've worked on and invested in, like the mobile industry and digital TV," Hettema said.
