The Argentine unit of Spanish administration software provider Grupo Softland posted 25% growth in 2010 compared with 2009, the company reported in a press release without providing hard figures.
In addition to 25% growth, Softland Argentina increased its staff by 5%, specifically in the areas of technology, services and marketing. Furthermore, the company increased its business partnerships, while also adding 45 new clients from various verticals.
The new clients came from manufacturing, food and beverages, agricultural industry, commercial distribution, and construction companies, among others. Softland also opened a new office facility in which all of the company's units are on a single floor.
In terms of strategic business partnerships, Softland added five commercial channels, three of which are in Cordoba province. The company also said it will continue its management operations in Mendoza, where it sees opportunities for more partners.
For 2011, Softland plans to continue regional expansion, increasing its presence through partnerships in the northwest and Patagonia regions of Argentina, as well as in Uruguay. Softland also expects to finish an innovation project during the second half of 2011 to be applied to the Logic, Advance and Business product lines. The company's goal is to sustain growth.
Softland Argentina has more than 500 large and medium-sized clients, such as Electrolux Argentina and River Plate athletic club.
Grupo Softland has a presence throughout Latin America, with subsidiaries in Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Panama and the Dominican Republic, representing 25,000 active clients.
