Russian software and IT services company Softline International has expanded its presence in Latin America with its arrival in Colombia, according to local media outlet Portafolio.
The company will market software and offer comprehensive services such as training, technical support and consultancy to its clients. Softline will also provide its three business models: software and hardware sales, technology training and certifications, and engineering consultancy.
Softline has named systems engineer specializing in telecoms and business Mauricio Cuéllar Rojas as general director of Softline Colombia.
Prior to landing in Colombia, Softline had a presence in Venezuela and Argentina, with sales volume in each country reaching around US$3mn a year.
Globally, Softline projects sales of US$460mn this year. The company has been operating for 17 years in places such as Central Europe, Latin America, Iran, Egypt, Belarus and Turkey. Softline has outlined plans to expand globally to 29 countries and 74 cities.
