International software solutions provider Tagetik is beginning direct operations in Brazil and has signed a partnership with local company Twice Software, according to a press release from Tagetik.
As part of Tagetik's global expansion efforts, the new operations will be based in São Paulo.
Heading the Brazilian operations will be Antonio Rihl, who will report to Tagetik COO Manuel Vellutini. Rihl believes Tagetik's competitive advantage in Brazil will come from its ability to manage business performance, to plan and control costs, and to adhere to financial reporting standards, as well as to new regulatory reporting requirements for the global economy.
Vellutini said Tagetik will continue to expand internationally through its distributor network, while also investing heavily in marketing and partnering.
Tagetik provides a unified software solution for performance management, enterprise governance, risk and compliance, and disclosure management. The company operates in 18 countries, with 400 global customers and a partnership with Microsoft (NYSE: MSFT).
