Mexican telecoms incumbent Telmex (NYSE: TMX), in partnership with Cisco (Nasdaq: CSCO), will offer new collaboration services for the enterprise market, the companies said in separate statements.

These services will be available in Mexico at a national level on August 30 and later in the rest of Latin America.

Telmex will integrate Cisco's technology into its unified communications offer, aimed at midsize and large businesses with the managed unified communications service, and at SMEs with the Comunica Plus package.

The enterprise market will also be offered a web conference solution - a collaboration integrated service offered via internet with Cisco WebEx. It allows users to participate in calls from different geographical points and from any device, integrating web functions like instant messaging, allowing participants to collaborate in real time.

As of April, Telmex has been offering telepresence services based on Cisco technology.
