Mobile operator Telecel Bolivia, which operates under the brand name of Tigo, has opened a state of the art contact center that functions 24 hours a day, all year long, local press reported.
"This is not a typical call center," Tigo's customer service manager Claudia Landívar was quoted as saying. "It's a true contact center that relates with our clients via the different channels that technology offers us."
The new center - whose location was not reported - handles contact via telephone, as well as Facebook, Twitter, email and chat.
Tigo is fully controlled by Luxembourg-based mobile operator Millicom International Cellular (Nasdaq: MICC).
