IDT Telecom launches collect calling feature for TúYo wireless service

Thursday, March 29, 2007

US-based telecommunications company IDT Telecom has launched a reverse charge calling feature for callers from certain Latin American countries phoning US subscribers of its prepaid wireless service TúYo Mobile, the company said in a statement.

This new feature, called Conecta2, gives TúYo Mobile subscribers in the US a toll free access number, which they can give to friends and family in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia and the Dominican Republic.

The call is charged to the account of the TúYo Mobile customer receiving the international call for as low as US$0.10 per minute plus airtime.
