Anda spending US$1.52mn on La Libertad waterworks

El Salvador's national water and sewerage authority Anda is spending US$1.52 to build potable water networks in cities Arce and San Juan Opico, in La Libertad department.

The two projects, located in cantons Flor Amarilla and Sitio del Niño respectively, will connect some 83,000 residents to the networks, Anda said in a release.

The initiatives involve perforating two new wells, building a new water tank with capacity to store 100m3 of water and installing 6km of pipelines.
