Tuesday, December 20, 2011

Argentina's Banco Provincia (Bapro) will provide 25mn pesos (US$5.83mn) to the city of Bahía Blanca in Buenos Aires province to develop public infrastructure.

While the projects will focus on paving, work will also be carried out to improve sanitation, potable water and gas service, the provincial website reported.

"This union reflects the future of the province as well as the bank's objective to work as strategic ally of the state, municipalities and general society in the private sector to ensure quicker and more efficient solutions," said bank president Gustavo Marangoni.
