Brief: Sanepar to invest in sewerage project in Paraná
Brazil's Paraná state water utility Sanepar will invest a total of 32mn reais (US$8.2mn) to expand sewerage networks in the city of Santa Tereza do Oeste.
The financing of the project is already secured. The project comprises the construction of two sewerage treatment plants and 41 kilometers of sewerage networks. It is expected to be finished by 2020.
"This is a long-awaited work that will bring peace of mind for everyone. It means safety in health and quality of life," said Elio Marciniak, mayor of Santa Tereza do Oeste.
