Bolivia's Cochabamba municipal council plans to carry out a project in 2012 to modernize the city potable water and sewerage pipelines, paper Opinión reported.
The project is currently being analyzed by the environment and water ministry (MMAyA), according to municipal council head Ninoska Lazarte.
The project would cost some US$4mn, according to the report.
The official was speaking at a meeting with authorities from municipal water utility Semapa and residents of the city's District 10.
