Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul water utility Corsan has called three tenders valued at a total 7.53mn reais (US$4.75mn) to perform sanitation system maintenance work such as removing and resurfacing pavements, repairing storm conduits, masonry and carrying out earthworks.
The first, set at 2.53mn reais, involves work in 16 municipalities including the main cities of Lageado and Estrela. Proposals should be submitted on September 13, according to a company procurement notice.
Budgeted at 2.7mn reais, the second tender contemplates similar maintenance work in the municipalities of Cachoeira do Sul, Candelária, Agudo, Faxinal do Soturno, Ivorá, Nova Palma, Dona Francisca, Sobradinho, Passa Sete, Arroio do Tigre and Lagoa Bonita do Sul.

Finally, Corsan called a 2.3mn-real tender for work in the municipalities of Canela, Gramado, Várzea Grande, Lajeado Grande, Nova Petrópolis, São Francisco de Paula, Bom Jesus, Cambará do Sul, Jaquirana and São José dos Ausentes.
Bids are due on September 12.
All three projects have 12-month deadlines.
