Argentina's Entre Ríos province governor Sergio Urribarri has opened two bids for a project to build a wastewater treatment facility at an industrial park in Gualeguaychú city.
Construction firm Szczech y Szczech presented a bid of 19.4mn pesos (US$4.6mn) and an alternate bid of 19.3mn pesos.
The second offer was submitted by a group comprised of Construcción Antonio C Cavalli and Trasandina Vial, which bid 19.6mn pesos.
The new facility has an official budget of 14.5mn pesos and will improve wastewater treatment capacity at the industrial park to 200m3/h from 120m3/h.
The project also involves relocating a wastewater outfall in the city, according to the release.
