Entre Ríos receives two bids for US$12mn Villaguay drainage tender

Argentina's Entre Ríos province government has received two bids for a 50mn-peso (US$12mn) tender for channeling and improvement work on Villaguay's northern drainage canal.

Ing Quaranta offered 54.0mn pesos, and Dos Arroyos bid 55mn pesos, according to a release from the provincial government.

Work is due to wrap up in 912 days and involves installing reinforced concrete ducts along the canal, which currently represents a public health hazard, the release said.

Other upcoming water projects in the province will include building an open-air drainage canal on the Seguí basin and cleaning up the Antoñico de Paraná stream.
