Foncodes spending US$3.5mn on infrastructure works

Peru's rural development cooperation fund Foncodes is allocating 9.63mn soles (US$3.5mn) for 37 infrastructure projects in 13 departments nationwide.

Projects include building bridges and dirt roads, installing potable water and irrigation systems, rural electrification, and more, state news agency Andina reported.

Work is expected to wrap up this month, benefiting some 20,720 people.
