Hermosillo wastewater treatment plant to wrap up in March

Mexican company Tratamientos y Procesos de Hermosillo will complete work in March on a 35mn-peso (US$2.9mn) wastewater treatment plant in Sonora state capital Hermosillo.

The federal and state governments will each finance half of the project, local news source El Imparcial reported.

Authorities have approved the use of 50l/s of wastewater treated at the plant to irrigate 77ha of sports fields and open areas in Sonora.
