Panama's state-owned water and sanitation utility Idaan has tendered construction of domestic connections for the Casco Viejo district of Colón city, capital of the province of the same name.
The project has a reference price of US$5.26mn, according to the tender document published on state procurement website PanamaCompra.
Interested firms are required to visit the site before presenting bids, which are due April 4 and will be opened the same day.
The winning firm will have one year to complete the project, which includes installation of more than 750 domestic connections, 244 hydrants and removal of old infrastructure.
