The project calls for the construction of an industrial wastewater facility. It is part of the plan for a Lanús Industrial Tanning Park, which looks to bring together all tanning business in the area in one place so that all industrial waste created by the tanning process can be properly treated. Once built, the park will house 65 tanning businesses. The treated industrial wastewater will be transported to the Colector Margen Izquierda pipe via an industrial effluent pipe located near the Lanús wastewater treatment plant.
