Project Details

The project entails the construction of a new airport within a prospective citadel, in order to meet the future demand for passengers. The new airport will have, in its first phase, a landing strip, a passenger terminal, a parallel taxiway and a platform with boarding bridges and remote positions, among others, which will allow it to mobilize more than 9Mp/y in its first phase of construction, reaching a capacity of 20Mp/y in phase five. It could finally reach a total of 30Mp/y. The citadel, which would be developed separately, would be a macro project of 1,800ha that would include a real estate, commercial, logistic and housing development around the airport, for which about 700ha are being allocated.
