Project Details

The project is designed to enable the development and production of heavy crude from the Marañón basin to the Bayóvar maritime terminal via the Nor Peruano pipeline. i) The first stage, which involves the installation of loops to allow transportation of the early production from the producers (initially estimated at 85,000b/d), construction of new tanks, and installation of new pumps at Morona and station 5 and others. The first phase would include current production from Pluspetrol (blocks 8 and 1AB) and output from blocks held by Perenco, Repsol YPF, Talisman Energy, Burlington-Conoco and others. ii) The second stage, or integrated project, consists of the construction of pipelines, the deployment of a northern section of the pipeline (ORN), installation of pumping and storage and other works. It would be carried out if production at the blocks totals more than 100,000b/d.
