A delegation from Bolivia's National Highway Service (SNC) and regional transport authorities yesterday began inspection of the maintenance works on the 39 highway sections awarded or which will be awarded to private investors.
Inspections began in Bolivia's department of Cochabamba where four out of five sections have been awarded. On Monday the the Confital Cochabamba -Cochabamba Sacaba Paracti section which will be awarded.
Bolivia's highway network maintenance program represents an annual cost of US$20mn and covers the maintenance of 80% of Bolivia's highways.
