Objectives and Methodology

The main goal of the study was to determine the leading IT investment trends in Latin America and what the scene will look like in the coming years. The survey was performed by interviewing professionals in the Information Technology (IT) sector and senior executives with the decision-making powers to invest in and adopt IT at their organizations.

The industrial sectors covered in the study are comprehensive and take a look at:

For this study, we called more than 350 interviewees in the following countries and sub-regions:

• Brazil
• Mexico
• Argentina
• Chile
• Colombia
• Venezuela
• Peru
• Central America

Field Work
The data was collected between June and July, 2008.
