Argentina's Neuquen province energy company Epen planned to inaugurate on Tuesday its Pio Protto transformer 10km from San Martin de los Andes, the province's news service said.
The transformer cost 1.85mn pesos (US$629,251) and will allow Epen to meet growing demand in the cities of San Martin and Junin de los Andes, and encourage industrial and commercial growth in the area, Epen president Nicolas Salvatori was quoted as saying.
Epen has 11,325 clients in San Martin and Junin de los Andes.
