Terminal Zarate, the first privately-built port in Argentina, is set to officially launch on November 29, online publication Diario de Noticias Portuarias reported.
The port, located in Zarate in Buenos Aires province, will have two specialized terminals - one moving motor vehicles called Auto Terminal Zarate (ATZ) and a container terminal (TZ).
The port announced it would be operational in days prior to the official launch when it installs two Impsa cranes.
Terminal Zarate required investment of US$30mn and is controlled by Argentine group Murchison.
