Belize's works and transport ministry is seeking a consultant to design a replacement for the Haulover bridge in Belize City.
The winning bidder will be required to complete a detailed design of the bridge replacement within six months, according to a tender notice published on the UN Development Business website.
The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) will finance the works as part of a wider US$29.8mn loan for the Fifth Road project, which seeks to upgrade the 153km Phillip S.W. Goldson highway that runs between Belize City and the Mexican border.
Expressions of interest should be submitted by August 22.
