Belize's works and transport ministry is seeking a contractor to carry out roadworks in Belize City.
The winning bidder will be required to carry out works along 5.35km of the airport road junction to Haulover bridge and along 4.46km between the bridge and Buttonwood Bay boulevard roundabout, according to a tender notice published on the UN Development Business website.
The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) will finance the works as part of a wider US$29.8mn loan for the Fifth Road project, which seeks to upgrade the 153km Phillip S.W. Goldson highway that runs between Belize City and the Mexican border.
This is the second Fifth Road-related project to be tendered in recent weeks.
Applications for pre-qualification should be submitted by September 5.
