Brazilian iron ore exports totaled US$2.64bn in November, with daily average shipment figures down 28.2% year-on-year, according to foreign trade department Secex.
The country exported 32.6Mt of iron ore in November, from 32.7Mt in October and 31.8Mt in the same month last year.
The average export price in November was US$81.0/t compared with US$80.9/t in October and US$115.6/t, year-on-year.
Iron ore has been Brazil's main export since 2000. Last year the country shipped 331Mt worth a record US$41.8bn, giving it a 16.3% share in the country's total exports.
