Argentine natural gas distributor Ecogas Cuyana made net profits in 2002 of 9.32mn pesos (today US$2.93mn), the company said in a statement to the Buenos Aires stock market without providing comparative figures for 2001.

Net equity at year-end 2002 was 561.2mn pesos.

Ecogas operates in the provinces of Mendoza, San Juan and San Luis.
