Gases de Occidente restores gas supply to Cali customers

Colombian natural gas distributor Gases de Occidente reported that it had restored natural gas supply to all 38 districts of northern Cali where supply was affected by a damaged pipe on March 17.

Supply to residential customers was restored by 5:00pm local time on March18, and services resumed to eight vehicular natural gas service stations and 26 industrial clients on the city's northern outskirts by 10:00pm, Gases de Occidente said in a letter to Colombian securities regulator Superfinanciera.

Gases de Occidente serves 619,397 users in 27 municipalities in Valle del Cauca department and is Colombia's second largest distributor in terms of clients.
