Argentine oil and gas exploration and production company Pluspetrol has prioritized sales to the Brazilian market, company executive Steven Crowell said, quoted in newspaper Buenos Aires Economico.

Pluspetrol is furthermore interested in participating in the concession for marginal areas in Argentina's Neuquen province where it already owns the Centenario property and two others, and recently inaugurated a four million cubic meter/day gas treatment plant.

The company is continuing talks with Argentine regulators on imports of gas from its Bolivian reserves in Tarija department that it would use at its Ave Fenix thermoelectric plant in Argentina's Tucuman province.
