Allus Global to open second call center in Argentina's Chaco province

BPO and call center provider Allus Global is expected to open its second call center in Argentina's Chaco province before the end of the year, a provincial government press release said.

The second call center is forecast to employ around 1,000 local residents, mostly between the ages of 22 and 30, and adds to the workforce already at Allus' first Chaco call center which was established in 2011.

Allus is investing 12mn pesos (US$2.07mn) in the new site. Chaco governor Jorge Capitanich sees Allus' future center as an opportunity for young residents and expects it to contribute more than 20mn pesos per month to the local economy, the release said.
