Caribbean nearshore business process outsourcing (BPO) services provider KM2 Solutions has opened a new Central American contact center in Honduras, according to media outlet Inside Arm.
The contact center is in the Altia Business and Technology Park in the city of San Pedro Sula and boasts up-to-date technology and a LEED-certified building.
On top of growing with existing clients, KM2 will seek new clients and implement new services. Plans to develop operations in Honduras were the company's response to the needs of its Fortune 500 client base and market growth for bilingual services located close to North American markets.
As KM2's fourth location, the new Honduran contact center is a step toward the company's growth and expansion plans in Central America, said David Kreiss, KM2 president and CEO. According the executive, it is the first of many changes for the company in 2011.
KM2 already has locations in Barbados, St Lucia and Grenada. It provides contact center services for the financial services, automotive, telecoms, billing services and media industries.
