Spanish ICT firm Tecnocom expects to launch operations in the US and Paraguay during 2012, the company's director for Latin America, Luis Zanón, told BNamericas.
Tecnocom currently operates in several countries across the Americas, including Mexico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
According to the executive, Brazil, Colombia and Peru have the highest growth rates for Tecnocom in the region.
The firm's Latin American business is expected to generate revenues of 54.5mn euros (US$71.8mn) this year, up from 38mn euros in 2011, with increasing opportunities across several verticals, including media, telecoms, banking and insurance, the executive said.
According to previous reports, the firm's Latin American operations represent some 16% of overall revenues. "In the medium term, we expect the region could account for 30% of total revenues," Zanón said.
The company focuses on BPO, consulting services, banking payment systems and automation systems.
