London-based data services provider, Ve Interactive, has opened an office in São Paulo and has appointed Juliana Custodio as managing director of the Brazilian operation, the company announced.
The company focuses on online efficiency, abandoned cart recovery and digital marketing.
David Brown, co-founder and CEO of Ve Interactive UK, highlighted the "tremendous opportunity" in Brazil - the world's seventh largest economy and Latin America's largest online population and ecommerce market.
"The size of the ecommerce market [in Brazil] is in the same range as highly developed online retail markets like South Korea and it is nearly twice the size of markets like Spain and Italy," said Custodio, adding that Brazil's US$10bn in online retail revenues are forecast to double over the next five years.
Brazilian clients are set to launch Ve Interactive's software solutions in the next few days - "a demand that accelerated the company's arrival here," according to the release.
Ve Interactive also has offices in Boston, Stockholm and Sydney.
