The gas compression station has a capacity of 1.85Bf3/d (52.3Mm3/d) with a pression of 698 psig to 998 psig.Natural gas will be received from 48 trunk lines of the National System Pipeline, compressed in the Soto La Marina compressor station and finally returned in the same pipeline of Mexico's federal electricity comission (CFE), owned by Pemex Gas y Petroquimica Básica.
Enagás has won a US$180mn contract for the construction and operation of the station, for a period of 20 years. The development of the project would take 18 months.
