Ecuador's Refinería del Pacífico Eloy Alfaro project calls for the construction of a refining and petrochemical complex with a 300,000b/d processing capacity.
The refinery, which will generate its own electrical energy, will contribute approximately 115MW of electricity to the National Grid.
The project is expected to create some 2,500 direct job and 10,000 indirect jobs.
Mechanical completion is penciled in for December 2014 and start of operations in July the following year.
