Apple, founded in 1977 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne, designs, manufactures and markets personal computers (PCs) and related software, peripherals and personal computing and communicating solutions. The company's products and services also include wireless connectivity and networking products as well as other connectivity and networking solutions. Among its products are the iPhone, iPad, iPod, iCloud, Apple Play, its Mac brand for personal computers, and the iOS and OS X operative systems. The firm also sells and provides digital content and apps through its online services iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store y Mac App Store. Its business lines are geographically divided in Americas, Europe, Greater China, Japan, Rest of Asia, and Retail. In February, 2014, was inaugurated Latin America's first Apple Store in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which was added to the existing ones in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, China, Japan, Hong Kong and Australia.
