Brenntag Latin America, Inc. is the Latin American division of German industrial and specialty chemicals distributor Brenntag, located in US. It distributes paints, pigments, adhesives, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, plastics, polyurethanes, and oil & gas, among other products. Brenntag Latin America operates in 17 countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and México. It began its activities in the region in 1960 and has increased its footprint though the acquisition of chemical distribution assets of Argentina's Inquimex (2008) and Mexico's Austro Corp. (2009) and the purchase of Amco Internacional and Delanta Group (both in 2012), besides Gafor Group and Surtiquímicos in 2014. Its leading regional suppliers include BASF, Celanese, Dow, Evonik, ExxonMobil, Ineos, Oxiteno, Rhodia, and Wacker, among others.
