US firm Cameron International is a provider of products, systems and solutions to oil and gas industry players worldwide. Its main line of business is the engineering, design and manufacture of flow and pressure control technologies. The company is organized into several operating areas: drilling, surface systems, OneSubsea, valves and measurement. Products and services fall under the following headings: drilling systems; unconventional completions; subsea; production; pipeline, transmission and storage; industrial (technologies designed to direct, control, and measure the flow of product in industrial applications); and valve and valve automation index. Based in Houston, Texas, Cameron operates in the region through subsidiaries in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico and Venezuela. The firm acquired Ingram Cactus in 1998, Orbit Valve International (1998), Petreco International (2004), Natco Group (2009), LeTourneau Technologies Drilling Systems (2011), and TTS Energy Division from TTS Group (2012). In 2012, it also formed a subsea systems and services company, OneSubsea, a joint venture operation with fellow US services firm Schlumberger, joining Cameron's subsea division and Schlumberger's framo, surveillance, flow assurance and power and controls businesses. In April 2016, Cameron completed a merger with Schlumberger Ltd. The combined entity – known as Schlumberger Ltd – delivers a portfolio of pore-to-pipeline products and services to the global oil and gas industry.
