Argentina's unlisted state distributor EPE serves 1 million customers and a population of around 3 million in a concession area of 114,690km2. The company owns and operates 2,185-kmhigh-voltage distribution lines, 27,007-km medium voltage lines, 16,862km low voltage lines, and 55 132kV transformer stations with an installed capacity of 2,300MVA. In 2008, the company distributed 9,585GWh of electricity. EPE is controlled by the Santa Fe provincial government.
